(This Estes Park Shuttle page discusses the free shuttles in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. For paid shuttle transportation to and around Estes Park, see the Getting to Estes Park page.)
The free shuttles run only in summer. There are several routes:
The Shopper Shuttle runs up and down the main street in town, Elkhorn Avenue, and also stops at several hotels along Highway 34. Shopper Shuttle Map (PDF format)
The Hiker Shuttle provides service between the town's Visitors Center and Rocky Mountain National Park's "Park and Ride," the hub for the Park's shuttle system. It stops at Beaver Meadows Visitor Center along the way. You will need to have a pass to enter the Park; it can be purchased at either the town's or the Park's visitor center if you don't already have one.
Rocky Mountain National Park has two routes for its shuttle bus. One leaves the Park and Ride and heads to Bear Lake, the other leaves the Park and Ride and goes to Moraine Park. (There is also the Hiker Shuttle, described above.) RMNP Shuttle Bus Map (PDF format)
